The team have all been through the J1 visitor program numerous times, have worked as camp counsellors and currently hold positions in Camp Leadership.

We know what it takes to apply, and are well versed in the process, to get you through the application visa appointment and off to camp for a summer of a lifetime.

We don't deal in numbers, we deal in people!

Don't just take our word for it though, hear what others say about working with us:

Both Daren and Toby are hardworking, diligent, and friendly. Any issues that arise will be sorted with professionalism. Both want the best for anyone working and want to see them succeed. – Sam Brownlee

Toby and Darren are very nice people to work with. They both have a lot of experience in summer camp and in sports. Every time you have a question, they have a lot of advice to give you to make you progress in your job but also in your personal life. You can trust them because they are always 100%, they have a lot of energy, and a positive attitude, and they love what they do. – Camille Amaudric

Partner Relationship Manager

Over 6 summers I created some of the best memories whilst going back to the summer camp. Each year I would go back and the count down would begin for the next summer. The opportunities you have to build friendships, develop new skills and explore America is very unique and I recommend everyone to try it! There is a job for everyone whether it be working in the wood shop or driving boats on the lake the positions and opportunities are endless.

Richie Howe

Camp Counsellor - Head of Water sports

My name is Caitlin and I got lucky finding and being able to be a counsellor at Camp Cody. I worked at Camp for three years, working my way towards becoming the head of motor boat. Not only did I have three of some of the most fun, hectic, exhausting, but also rewarding summers of my life. I was also able to meet some of my best friends, one of which l’m actually living with now. Not only that, but I have friends across the world who I’ve been able to visit while I’ve traveled to places like France, Columbia, and the Netherlands. Being able to meet campers and counselors from all over the world was definitelv special. I loved watching campers, who without Camp Cody would never meet, become best friends. Many of them would tell me about how the wrote to each other or organized meet ups during the winter. That alwavs made me feel like what we were doing at Camp Cody was something special. It’s a life changing experience for many campers, but it was also
a life changing experience for me as well.

Caitlin Donoghue

Head of Waterskiing

For 5 summers now, I have attended camp in a variety of roles; from tennis instructor and cabin counselor, to nurses’ aid, to director of tennis. The friendships and memories made at camp are ultimately what brings me coming back for more. From early morning tennis matches, to seeing for miles while standing atop the Mount Washington summit, the memories and experiences created at camp are second to none.

Being able to make these memories with the coworkers that feel like nothing short of family is truly an aspect of camp that is just not replicable anywhere else. From counselors, the leadership team, kitchen staff to grounds crew, we all work together in an effort to provide each other, as well as campers and families, an experience so truly impactful, you’ll look back many years later and remember your time at camp as one of the greatest experiences of your life.

Having worked directly as part of the leadership team with Darren at DSA and Your Open Ticket , I can without a doubt say that he has been one of the most impactful bosses, coworkers, and friends I have ever known. With each year, I leave camp with ever-improving leadership and communication skills, as well as teamwork and organization skills.

There is not a doubt in my mind that these skills have largely been imparted and honed as a direct result of my relationship with Darren and Camp. I have no reservation in saying that my professional values and confidence in upholding my responsibilities have been largely impacted by Darren, and camp as a whole, and I am undoubtedly the man that I am today due to these relationships and experiences.

With appreciation and respect,

Kyle Salaga
