Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction

Our goal is to maintain clarity in this Agreement. In some instances, legal language is necessary.
2. Your Acceptance of this Agreement
These terms of service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Your Open Ticket Ltd, a company registered under company number 14455525, (“Your Open Ticket,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing and using www.youropenticket.com (“Website”) and our services, including the recruitment of candidates internationally for summer camps in North America, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms, along with any documents expressly incorporated by reference, govern your use of the Website and the services offered through it (collectively, the “Services”)

By using the Website [or by clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Service when this option is made available to you], you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Service.
BY ACCESSING AND USING THIS WEBSITE, YOU:
ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND AND COMPLY WITH THESE TERMS OF SERVICE;
YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU ARE THE LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY UNDER APPLICABLE LAW TO FORM A BINDING CONTRACT WITH US; AND,
YOU AGREE IF YOU ACCESS THE WEBSITE FROM A JURISDICTION WHERE IT IS NOT PERMITTED, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
3. Program Eligibility
To be accepted onto our program, you must:
· Be aged between 18 and 30 by June 1st, 2024.
· Possess a strong command of the English language.
· Provide a clean police background check.
· Hold a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining.
· Meet the requirements of the US government to qualify for a J1-Visa. Your Open Ticket can help advise candidates with their visa application but cannot accept responsibility if an application is denied by the US embassy.
· Be available to work in the US for a minimum of 9 weeks between June 1st and June 18th, 2024.
Meeting these criteria represents the basic minimum requirement. However, please note that fulfilling these conditions does not guarantee placement in our program.
4. Updates to Terms of Service
We may update these Terms. Changes are effective immediately upon posting and apply to all subsequent Website use.
Continued use means acceptance of revised Terms. Check this page regularly for updates.
5. Payment and Fees
To participate in the program, a program fee of £360 is payable to Your Open Ticket Ltd. A initial £60 deposit is required upon the initial application to the program.
The remaining £300 of program fees can be paid in 3x £100 instalments. The full balance must be settled before receiving your VISA.
By agreeing, you commit to providing accurate purchase and account info. Keep this information updated. Prices may change, and payments must be in the advertised currency.
You agree to pay all charges or fees at the prices then in effect for your purchases, and you authorise us to charge your chosen payment provider for any such amounts upon making your purchase. We may correct pricing errors and refuse orders through the Website.
5.1 Non-placement Refund Policy
This deposit is refundable if the candidate is not placed at a summer camp by June 1st. To be eligible for the deposit refund, the candidate’s application must be in a ‘camp-ready’ state, having been submitted, and the Application Workshop with the Your Open Ticket advisor must be completed. If these conditions are not met, the £60 deposit will be retained as credit for the following summer application. Once you are placed at a summer camp any fees paid no longer become refundable.
5.2 Application Withdrawal Policy
If an applicant wishes to withdraw their application from the program, they must notify Your Open Ticket Ltd in writing. Notification should be sent via email to their designated Your Open Ticket advisor and include the applicant’s full name, and the reason for withdrawal.
5.3 Withdrawing Before Placement
If an applicant is accepted onto the program, the deposit becomes only refundable if they are unable to secure a job at camp. If an applicant decides to withdraw of their own accord, the deposit will the £60 deposit will be retained as credit for the following summer application.
5.4 Withdrawal After Placement
In the event of withdrawal after being placed at a summer camp, the applicant is still responsible for fulfilling their financial obligations as outlined in the agreement and is responsible for paying the remainder of their fees.
5.5 Discretionary Refunds
In exceptional circumstances, Your Open Ticket Ltd may consider granting discretionary refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis. Such requests must be submitted in writing, along with supporting documentation, and will be subject to review and approval by Your Open Ticket Ltd management.
Additional Costs
Participating in the program incurs several additional costs for which you are responsible:
J1 Visa Eligibility:
· Participants are required to pay additional fees to gain access to a J1 visa.
Medical Form Fee:
· You may need to pay a fee to a medical professional for completing your health history form. Your Open Ticket is not responsible for this cost, as it is determined by your GP practice.
US Embassy Fee:
· A fee paid directly to the US embassy is required. Current prices can be found on the ‘apply’ page of our website.
Criminal Background Check Fee:
· The cost of a criminal background check is detailed on the ‘apply’ page of our website.
Travel Expenses:
· You are responsible for travel expenses to and from the US embassy for visa processing, as well as flights to and from the USA.
· While the camp may provide transport to camp, confirming and covering any costs associated with travel to and from camp is your responsibility.
Housing Costs:
· Your accommodation is provided for you whilst at summer camp. However, you are responsible for booking and covering the costs of housing during travel, after your camp experience, and in case you arrive before the camp placement starts.
Quarantine and COVID-19:
· Any extra costs associated with quarantine or testing positive for COVID-19 are not the responsibility of Your Open Ticket.
Immunizations or Tests:
· If your camp requires immunizations or tests (e.g., MMR or COVID-19 vaccines), you are responsible for any associated fees. Failure to comply may result in withdrawal from the placement, and Your Open Ticket is not responsible for related costs.
Payment Responsibility:
· Failure to make additional payments may delay your application. Due to limited program spots, applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. If you encounter difficulty paying these costs, contact your local Your Open Ticket advisor promptly.
These additional costs ensure the smooth processing of your application and contribute to the safety and well-being of participants, children, and staff at camp.
6. Your Responsibilities
You must ensure all Website users are aware of and comply with this Agreement. It’s a condition that the information you provide is correct, current, and complete. You are solely responsible for your use of the website and your computer, internet, and data security.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
The Website and its content are owned by Your Open Ticket, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Many of the photographs and videos used have been provided to us by participants and our partners. For these photographs we do not accept responsibility.
You may use the Website for personal, non-commercial use. Do not reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly display material, except as allowed:
· Temporary storage in your computer’s RAM or browser cache.
· Printing or downloading a copy for personal, non-commercial use.
Do not modify materials or remove copyright notices. Commercial use of the Website is prohibited.
8. Our Rights
We reserve the right to take legal action and terminate your access to the Website for illegal or unauthorised use. You waive claims resulting from actions taken by Your Open Ticket.
9. Third-Party Links and Content
The Website may link to third-party sites for your convenience. We are not responsible for these sites or their content. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
10. Disclaimers, Liability, and Indemnification
Your use of the Website is at your own risk. We provide no warranties, and Your Open Ticket is not liable for damages. You indemnify us from claims arising from your use of the Website.
11. Privacy Policy
Your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
The Website and these Terms are governed by United Kingdom laws. Any legal actions will be in the courts of the Country of the United Kingdom.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Service is illegal or unenforceable under applicable law, the remainder of the provision will be amended to achieve as closely as possible the effect of the original term and all other provisions of these Terms of Service will continue in full force and effect.
14. Entire Terms of Service
These Terms of Service constitute the exclusive agreement between the parties concerning their subject matter, replacing, and cancelling all prior agreements, oral or written, related to the same. Each party acknowledges not relying on any statements outside these Terms of Service, except those expressly stated herein. Any variations must be in writing and signed by or on behalf of Your Open Ticket.
15. Waiver
No failure or delay in exercising any right or power shall be a waiver. Each party can exercise rights or powers under these Terms of Service without precluding further exercises.
16. Notice
We may notify you via the email address you provided or by posting on the Website. Email notices are effective upon sending, and posted notices are effective upon posting. Keep your email address current for timely updates.
By submitting an application to the program, applicants acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
